Norwegian-Polish pianist Olga Jørgensen has performed in the UK, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, France, Holland and Malta as a soloist and in chamber groups. She did her concerto debut with the Bergen Philharmonic in March 2016 at De Unges Konsert at Grieghallen in Bergen. Recently she was awarded one of two YAMAHA scholarships for Scandinavia. Praised for her engaging and moving performances she has a particular passion for chamber music. Her former trio, the Jørgensen Trio won the 1st Prize and Audience Prize at the St Martin’s in the Fields Chamber Music Competition and the Malta International Music Competition. They also held a position as Chamber Music Fellows at the Royal Academy of Music. Other highlights include numerous awards in Norway such as the TICON Music Prize, an MMSF award from the Philharmonia Orchestra and a collaboration with the Vilnius String Quartet.
